Welcome to CREST

CREST is a local charity serving some of the needs of cancer patients and their carers in the Runnymede, Elmbridge and Spelthorne areas of Surrey. It is run entirely by volunteers who give their time and expertise for free.

Ode To Wisley Gardens

CREST, they went to Wisley, on Friday the 18th May,
How, indeed was the weather, well, the weather it was okay,
At approx 11am, they met Sue, their first class Guide,
Then at the end of their tour, a lunch was enjoyed, outside!

Throughout their Wisley tour, there was lots for all to see,
Beautiful colours and scents, no matter what your taste may be,
Plants, flowers and shrubs, veggies and trees galore,
The Wisley Gardens experience, will make you crave for more!

After the tour and lunch, it was then time to head back home,
But, before a peek in the shop, for a gift or a garden gnome,
Now, CREST'S next booked event, is on Monday the 18th June,
The Hythe Centre Workshop day, if you're going, then see you soon!!

Councillors

Councillors donate Community Grant

We are very grateful to Christine Bannister, Mark Francis and Alan Patterson, Spelthorne Borough Councillors for Staines, who each donated £100 from their Community Grants.

Masonic Province of Middlesex Charitable Trust

Thanks to Joan's hard work making a compelling funding application we are very pleased to have been awarded £3,000 by our local Masonic Lodge. This generous donation will enable us to continue to run the office and provide our support services, training and Relaxation Days.

A new Trustee for CREST

We are delighted to welcome Mrs Pauline Hedges as a Trustee of CREST. Pauline was until recently Director of The Chamber of Commerce in Surrey and has supported CREST for many years. She is a firm believer in the benefits of CREST Relaxation Days!
