Every Penny Counts!
We are very grateful to everyone who fundraises for us and can assure them that every penny is put to very good use. Here are some of the ways CREST members have raised money for us:
Bring-and-Buy Cake Sale
A big thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising cake sale on December 6th. We were very pleased to see you all and were glad you could join us for coffee and a chat. We raised over £155 from the sale of your delicious cakes which will help to keep CREST supporting you.
Loose Change
Whenever Sally was given a copper coin in her change she saved it for CREST. She broke open her piggy bank for the Relaxation Day and all the 1p and 2p coins added up to a fantastic £5.
Ebay Auction
Frances and her daughter turned out their cupboards and sold some items they no longer wanted, including Shire Horse Society memorabilia and a Wallace and Gromit salt and pepper set.
The goods were auctioned on Ebay and raised £47 for CREST.
Fundraising Walk
Dietlimd and her friends organised a sponsored walk from Chertsey Bridge to the Thames Court Hotel and back again in memory of their friend Carol.
They raised £65 for CREST, which will be used to help other patients who need MLD treatment.
