To say it was ‘an amazing day’ is an understatement.  Andy and Andrew and all the team at Maranellos (Thorpe and Egham) have surpassed all our expectations after choosing CREST as a local charity to sponsor for their First Open Day (which was for Club Scuderia Owners Group).

After helping several people who are working for Maranellos it is good that they have decided to help a local charity rather than a national one.  Small local charities do not get the support the bigger nationals do, but do just as good a job, but on a much smaller scale. 

As Maranellos is a large employer of local people, it is fantastic that they want to reciprocate this by helping promote us.

We have attended many local events to raise our awareness profile and also much needed funds.  However this one was made so easy by the background support of Andy and his wonderful team.  No matter what was required, it all just happened – the sign of an excellent cohesive team all working together for the same aim.

Obviously the attendees from Club Scuderia were impressed too as I spoke to many of them on my frequent walkarounds of the event. 

We had many people asking for further information on CREST which is always good for us and lots of our leaflets were taken.  Many people are also local so we are now in their minds if they need help immediately or perhaps in the future.

Local organisations supporting local charities helps benefit everyone so we always encourage partnerships like this as it obviously benefits both parties.
