CREST held their first Luxury Pamper Day at Manor Mead
School, Shepperton back in September 2006.
Over 130 people turned up which shows the sign of a
successful event. Therapists were arriving as were patients
and carers and everyone was booked in and shown to their
respective Therapy Room or Tea Room!
Everyone had a choice of both Workshops (Aromatherapy,
Flower Arranging, Ceramic Painting, Holistic Life Coaching,
Hydro Pool Therapy) and Therapies (Reiki, Massage, Reflexology,
Kinesiology) and included was a Relaxation Class at
the beginning of the day, tea/coffee breaks and a sumptuous
buffet lunch all ready for a welcome break at lunchtime.

Lunchtime break for all those pampered people...
There were several photographers there, from the Natural
Health School of Complementary Therapies (who our therapists
are all cancer care trained with) and also the local
Guardian newspaper as well.
The teams of volunteers worked hard all day, from supplying
tea/coffee to making sure people knew where to go next.
All of the therapists were given a round of applause
for their hard work and time given up to benefit all
cancer patients and their carers.
It was a truly wonderful day which everyone enjoyed.
The next event is planned for 24th March 2007...put
it in your diary now!
